Spring clean table top sale coming on Sunday March 12th - Village Hall at 11.am

Do you want to support our LIDL campaign and have a good clear out at the same time?

You can donate good, saleable items for us to sell or you can pay £10 to have your own table and share the proceeds with us 50/50

Goods for sale should be delivered to the Hall from 9.30 on the day. We are interested in good guality ladies, and children’s clothing, jewellery, art, bric a brac etc. All the stuff you might buy yourself,

A meeting will be held at the Village Hall on Thursday 2nd March at 19.00 to discuss the Lidl Planning Application

Residents of the Village engaged a Planning Consultant in 2022, he lodged a report on our behalf

Following information which has recently come to our attention we will probably have to engage him again

Please come along to the meeting and be prepared to make a small donation towards costs also talk to your neighbours to make sure they are aware of what is happening

There will be more fundraising going on in the village to raise the necessary funds but we will keep you informed as this happens

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible who are able to attend on Thursday

ST DAVID'S DAY EVENT - LLANMAES VILLAGE HALL

On St David’s Day Wednesday March 1st we will be hosting ‘cake and a cuppa’ at the Village Hall between 3pm and 4.30pm

£5 will buy you cake and a cuppa with all proceeds to the Disasters Emergency Committee appeal for Turkey and Syria earthquake relief.

Music will be provided by harpist Sue Banks - a lovely St David’s Day treat

There will also be a raffle, tickets at £1 a strip with some great prizes

If you aren’t able to attend you can still support by purchasing an entry ticket which will give you 6 delicious Llanmaes home made Welsh cakes

LATEST UPDATE ON OGI FIBRE WORKS IN LLANMAES

Now that Welsh Water/Dwr Cymru have completed their works in the Village OGI are returning next week. The map below shows the areas affected with road closures in place. However there will be access on evenings and at weekends. There will be a further update on works and areas affected next week

1st December sees the first of our Advent Windows being revealed at 8 West Acre at 17.00.

For those new to the village or who didn’t take part last year come and join in. You will be given a a copy of the map below to see which houses in the village are taking part in this fun event during the month of December from 17.00 on most evenings
