Llanmaes Village Advent Windows
CommentFrom 1st December on the run up to Christmas, many houses in the village have agreed to light up a window of their house on each day of the month. Each householder who has agreed to take part has a dedicated day of the month to reveal and light up
The Advent window showing the number (date) must be clearly visible.
A map is being drawn up showing which houses are taking part in the Advent window reveal.
We are suggesting the window is lit and revealed at around 5pm/6pm so the children can take part before bedtime and the host can offer festive drinks, mince pies or sweeties if they would like to
We did this event for the first time last year and it was a great success, with lots of fun enjoyed by the host and families alike. Many of those who took part last year have asked again this year to participate
There are still a few windows left to decorate so if you are interested in this event please get in touch with
Jackie Wright 07976 698325 or 01446 796605
